Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Second Shift Leadman Supervisor/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in 3, 4, and 5-axis milling, single twin spindle turning, and mill/turn operations, coupled with a solid understanding of GD&T inspection techniques. Hands-on experience with CMM using scanning software such as CAD/CAM, Powermill, Featurecam, and Solidworks is a must. As a leader, your responsibilities will encompass supervising and managing end-shift operations, programming, editing, setting up, and operating CNC equipment, verifying that parts and first articles are correct, troubleshooting projects, and training new hires. Communication skills are vital as you'll be coordinating with the first shift through notes, texts, and emails. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience and 10 years in CNC machining.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- As a Second Shift Leadman Supervisor/Foreman, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and build a proficient end-shift team, ensuring the continuity of our operations.
- You will take charge of programming, editing, setting up, and operating the CNC equipment, displaying your expertise in complex machine handling.
- An integral part of your role will be to verify the correctness of running parts, ensuring all operations adhere to set specifications.
- Checking and approving First Articles will be crucial in maintaining our strict quality standards.
- Your problem-solving skills will be put to use as you troubleshoot projects, rectify issues and maintain efficiency.
- Training new hires and facilitating their integration into the team will be another important aspect of your role.
- Lastly, you will need to maintain clear and open communication with the first shift, using notes, texts, and emails to ensure a seamless handover and continuity of operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- A thorough understanding of 3, 4, and 5-axis milling operations is a prerequisite for this role, displaying your versatility in various machining processes.
- Your experience in single twin-spindle turning and mill/turn processes will be vital in delivering precision-crafted products.
- We require an in-depth knowledge of inspection techniques using GD&T to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision.
